Any time you move to a new residence in South Korea,

you need to report your change of address. 

⭐️You must report your change of address within 15 days otherwise you will be fined.⭐️

1. Online

-Go to HiKorea

-e-Application

-Address Change Declaration Form

*e-Applications can only be submitted on weekdays from 7:00 AM - 10:00 PM

excluding weekends and holidays

전자민원 : 평일 07:00부터 22:00 (토, 일, 공휴일제외)

2. In person at your local Community Center

동사무소/주민센터/ 행정복지센터

*Bring the following documents:

-Your Signed Lease

-Passport

-Alien Registration Card (ARC)

Print the 'Confirmation of Residence/Accommodation' Form

3. Immigration

You can report your change of address at immigration but you will need to make an appointment. I do not recommend this way.

-Search for 주민등록등본

-Follow the steps in the video

*I also believe you can get a copy of your resident registration on Kakao Talk but I am not sure how to do that. Please ask someone who speaks Korean to help you.

Print at your local community center or at a kiosk near you

-Search on naver or kakao map for a kiosk near you

-“무인민원발급기 or 무인민원발급창구“

-You will see the kiosks near you
